Everest Ultimate Edition 5.30.2068 (Read):

Lavalys' Everest Ultimate Edition is a comprehensive suite of benchmarks which includes a section dedicated to hard drive testing. While higher scores are better for five of the six sets of results to be shown, for 'Average Read Access' lower scores are better.

The results on this page are all for linear read tests where the software focuses on the beginning, middle, and end of the drive. For an SSD things are a little different since it doesn't actually spin, so as you might expect the results are the same for all three. For the Momentus XT, while the results are impressive when compared to the 5400RPM drive, they don't improve much thanks to the adaptive memory.
