Conclusion
As always, we expect a well made and well designed product from
Kingston, which this is. They continue to make incremental upgrades to the MobileLite line, that make them more useful and more appealing. If you have a G2 device, the changes made might not be enough for you to buy the latest and greatest, but if you are a frequent traveler or often have space concerns on your phone, you really should consider one of these.
Retailers like
Newegg Business offer the Kingston MobileLite G3 wireless card reader for just under $60 which makes it competitively priced with similar devices and a very a good price for such a multi function tool. When you consider you are getting a travel router, device charger, memory card reader, back up device and file streamer this MobileLite G3 is very cost effective. If you were to buy all these things separately they would cost you a lot more and it would be an absolute mess of tangled wires, the opposite of what you want... simplicity. This device just works.
I am always interested to see what Kingston adds to this device, maybe next year they will add the ability to jump start your vehicle.
The Kingston MobileLite G3 wireless card reader earns the Bigbruin.com "Recommended" award for being the next generation of a very useful line of devices.
