Packaging and Accessories:
The SSDSA2MH080G2K5 version of
Intel's X25-M 80GB solid state drive is sold in the compact package shown below.
The front of the box provides details on the model and capacity, but nothing else overly specific to the drive inside. The back of the box merely confirms that there is a solid state drive in the box and that it may not look like the images on the box. Other panels of the box confirm that it carries a 3-year warranty and that it offers "award-winning performance" without getting specific as to the performance specifications.
Inside the box we find the SSD sealed in an anti-static bag, nestled in a cardboard frame intended to keep it safe and separated from the included accessories.
The next image shows the drive with its accessories. This kit includes (clockwise from the top) a sticker that states "My SSD Rocks", a 2.5" to 3.5" drive adapter tray, a miniature CD with warranty and installation information, a printed user's guide, a set of screws to mount the tray to your case, and a set of screws to mount the drive to the tray (or directly to any other compatible 2.5" drive mount).
According to this product's images on
Newegg.com, you should also get a SATA data cable and SATA power adapter cable (which weren't included with the review sample).
