Internal Inspection:

To pull the inner tray of the Ineo Technology I-NA309 D Pro Super Speed USB 3.0 to SATA Dual Bay RAID Enclosure out, all you have to do is flip the device over on it's back and remove the two very small screws that are on the bottom. Be careful when removing these screws as they are very small and easy to lose.

Next we get a good look at the tray that is inside the Ineo Technology I-NA309 D Pro Super Speed USB 3.0 to SATA Dual Bay RAID Enclosure. This is where you will be mounting your drives.

Here we get a close up look at the two SATA connectors that are on the drive controller. These are a bit flimsy and if you apply too much pressure it would be quite easy to break them right off of the PCB, so be careful when installing your drives. All you need to do is click the first drive into the bottom part of the tray and install the four screws that hold it in place.

After that just do the same with the second drive on the top part of the tray.

Once you have them installed it should look just like the picture below. The installation is really easy. The drives do fit quite snugly, so it may take a little bit of patience to get them in... especially the bottom one.

After you get them screwed into the tray just slide it back into the outer aluminum shell and screw the little tiny screws back in.

There is one last step to the drive installation, and that is to make sure you plug the power cable on the inside of the Ineo Technology I-NA309 D Pro Super Speed USB 3.0 to SATA Dual Bay RAID Enclosure to the PCB as seen below.

Once you get your drives installed you are ready to power this bad boy up. First what you are going to want to do is set the RAID type you wish to use Single (Two single drives) safe (RAID1) or Fast (RAID 0), fire up the power, once the power is up I found that you have to push and hold the reset button for a few seconds and then once the Ineo Technology I-NA309 D Pro Super Speed USB 3.0 to SATA Dual Bay RAID Enclosure is restarted it will be ready for you to format it and get your data transferred. I have to say that I was impressed with the performance of the Ineo Technology I-NA309 D Pro Super Speed USB 3.0 to SATA Dual Bay RAID Enclosure, but hey... we'll talk about all that on the next page.
