NZXT has developed quite a strong reputation in the PC gamer/enthusiast community in large part due to their innovative and visually appealing computer cases. Over the years we have looked at plenty of cases from NZXT, and we have covered their other creations from fan controllers to mice to power supplies. In this review we're going to take a look at an NZXT product that marks their growth into a new area of the computer component market... CPU coolers.



The promotional image above shows a side shot of the NZXT HAVIK 140, a rather beefy heatpipe cooler which will be the subject of this review. It features six sets of heatpipes to wisk the heat from your CPU up into an array of Aluminum fins that are cooled by your choice of one or two 140mm fans. While will not be checking out its younger sibling, since the launch of the HAVIK 140, NZXT has also released the HAVIK 120 - a similarly designed cooler which utilizes a pair of 120mm fans.
