Packaging and Accessories:

The Hannspreee HF237HPB was shipped from Geeks.com in a heavy duty cardboard box that arrived undamaged. Inside the box there appears to be another box, however this is just a cover intended to help keep the components from shifting during transit.



Beneath the top layer of cardboard is the monitor. The packaging surprised me as I was expecting some styrofoam or other materials to keep the monitor from banging around inside the box. The monitor is shipped loose, sitting between the two pieces of cardboard. I would question whether this is sufficient, however it protected the review sample just fine.



As this is a refurbished monitor, do not expect many accessories. Typically when you purchase a new monitor, you might expect to get a warranty card, user manual, cables, and perhaps a driver CD. With a refurbished monitor you should expect much less, perhaps the bare minimum to get up and running.



Included with this monitor are VGA, audio, and power cables. If you plan on using the HDMI connection and do not have a cable, Geeks.com does offer a wide range of HDMI cables. The user manual and drivers are available from Hannspree if you need them.
