Packaging:
The HAF 932 AMD limited edition case came to us via the "Brown" carrier in a beautiful, full-color retail box. Cooler Master always does a great job with packaging, and the HAF 932 AMD is no exception. The below left image shows us the front of the box clearly labeled as the AMD Edition and with the really cool Fusion Dragon mascot. The below right image shows us the rear of the packaging which lists the high points of the unit; including cable management, water cooling support, and some tool-less features.
The chassis was packed very well, as usual, and our first glimpse inside the box is of the stunning red faceplate. I guess this would be "AMD red". The black accents contrasts it very nicely, and you can also see the very large AMD Phenom II case badge. This case badge is a bit peculiar, as it narrows the appeal of the case even farther. Not only is it AMD specific, it is now specific to one particular processor.
External Examination:
Once we get the unit out of the box and unwrapped, we can see why this is the AMD Edition - instead of using the familiar 230mm fan of the stock HAF 932 cases, the AMD Edition gets a full-size window with the AMD logo and the Fusion Dragon on it.
The flip side of the case (shown in the below right image), has an X shaped bump-out on the side panel to help with cable management, as well as some slots for airflow. We'll see more of the cable management feature later.
