ATTO Disk Benchmark v2.34:

Version 2.34 of ATTO Disk Benchmark was the next program used to compare the speeds of the drives on hand. The test was run in a fairly standard configuration using a transfer size from 0.5 to 8192KB, a total length of 256MB, and a queue depth of 10. Read and write results are provided in terms of MB/s, where higher is better. This test is the benchmark equivalent of the 40 yard dash - fastest time wins.

The first two tests are the 64k read and writes. Our results here are only slightly contradictory to our previous tests, especially against our 5400RPM Western Digital drive. Once we get to the write portion, the 4TB GoFlex Desk is smoked by the other two drives.





The 8MB test paints a completely different picture. In the write portion we get almost 174MB/s and reads of almost 153MB/s.
