There is not much to the FreeAgent Go 1TB drive. It is made out of plastic, and as previously mentioned it is currently only available in black. The front of the drive has a bright silver Seagate logo, and a sunshine pattern (sorry, no better way to explain this) of holes at the opposite end. These holes will light up when the drive is in use.
One of the ends is where you will find the single USB connector. There is no need for additional power from an AC adapter or second USB jack... All the power required can be provided by the same cable used for data transfers. There are also two grooves on the side of the hard drive, these only go about 1/4 inch up the side of the drive. These are used if you purchase the optional Docking station or the Seagate DockStar.
Included Software:
When you plug in the FreeAgent Go, you can either access the drive like you would with any other hard drive, or you can select to install software by Seagate. If you select to install the Seagate software you will be presented with a quick installation process. Seagate's install process covers multiple languages, and once you have chosen your preferred language you can either install the software or read the included user guides.
Taking a look at the user guides will open a new window as shown below. Here you will be able to find documentation on three very important topics: end user license agreement, user manuals, and warranty information.
