Packaging and Accessories:

The ASUS ENGTS250 1GB GTS 250 video card is sold in the vibrant box shown below. On the front of the box you see the Dark Knight himself riding alongside printed details on some of the features, including the "Enthusiastic 4 Heat-Pipe". On the back of the box you get much more information on the card's features, specifications, and recommended system requirements.



Inside, the card is wrapped in an anti-static bag and well protected in a form fitting pocket cut out of the foam that lines the box. The disks and documentation are laid on top of the card, while the balance of accessories are place in the cardboard box seen to the right of the card.



The below image shows a close up of all disks and documents; you get a driver disk, a multilingual manual disk, a printed setup guide, and a coupon for discounts on games. Many GTS 250 cards are now bundling games with them to increase the appeal, but unfortunately this is not one of them. The balance of the accessories are shown in the below right image. There is a DVI to VGA adapter, a PCI Express power adapter, and a TV-out to component video adapter.



There is no DVI to HDMI adapter or S/PDIF cable, despite the official specifications listing that there should be. This could have simply been an inadvertent omission, or perhaps the note listed with the specifications was accurate and these accessories are no longer included.
