Packaging:
Thermaltake packages the Element G in the standard box you might expect. The front has a clean looking image of the top of the case, while the back points out many of the interesting features that we will get into later. On an interesting note, by the condition of the box I received, you can tell shipping was not at all that friendly on my Element G, however even with the large hole on the back, my Element G had no damage at all. A true testament to Thermaltake’s thought and effort put into protecting their product.
The Basics:
Once exposed from the packaging I could not help but be impressed by the detail and overall look to the Element G. Here we see the massive 230mm fan that comes with built in LED lighting. The side panel is accented by a red stripe that runs around the outer edge. The opposite side has a removable solid panel with the same red accent.
Up top we get a glimpse at the 200mm fan, again equipped with LED lighting. Towards the front we see the knob for not only fan control but LED control. That’s right, you can change not only the speed but essentially the mood of you Element G case. Also what front panel would be complete without your power and reset buttons, along with microphone and headphone connections. Thermaltake completes the front panel with four USB ports.
Here we can see the three 5.25” external bays on the front of the case. Below that, you guessed it, yet another fan. This time we have a 200mm fan and again teamed with what seems to be the Element G standard issue LED setup, as well.
