Testing (continued):
Crystal Disk Mark v.2.22 (continued):
The next Crystal Disk Mark test is for 512K read, where it reads in 512K blocks. The Dock Master is faster than the USB 2.0 connection by approximately 28 MB/s, and close to 2.5 MB/s slower than the internal connection.
The 512K write test shows the Kingwin at 33 MB/s quicker than the other USB 2.0 connections, however the internal connection wrote at about 11 MB/s faster than the Kingwin.
The last two Crystal Disk Mark tests are for 4k read and 4k write. Below we see that the Kingwin Dock Master performed a bit better than each of the USB 2.0 connections when it comes to 4k reads.
On the 4k write test the Dock Master was a bit below the Thermaltake BlacX dock, as well as using the USB 2.0 connection on the Kingwin. However it was quicker than the internal connection speed.
