The Basics:
The
Kingston DataTraveler HyperX 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive is larger in physical dimensions than most other USB flash drives - especially the USB 2.0 variety. Research on Newegg.com reveals that drive is actually larger in overall volume than every one of its competitors with 64GB capacities and by a pretty substantial margin - 38% larger than the average device available at Newegg as of December, 2011. This flash drive has a rubberized coating that is primarily black, with blue accents that seem to mimic the "K" that makes up the Kingston logo. The pictures below show you the two sides of the drive.
The next photo shows the small lanyard that can be tied to the rear of the Kingston DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 flash drive. Next to that is a photo to highlight that the removable cap can be attached to the opposite end of the drive - slightly reducing the chances of losing it. One annoying thing to point out about this flash drive is that the cap only fits in one orientation. When installed in the wrong orientation, the chances of losing the cap increase greatly. Also note that using the lanyard interferes with installing the cap on opposite side of the flash drive.
Next up is a 3/4 view of the Kingston DataTraveler HyperX 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive and another shot intended to give you a feel for the size of the drive next to a US one dollar bill.
