Cooler Master has been manufacturing computer components for more than a decade with a focus on providing the best thermal solutions possible. Although cooling products may be their main focus, their line-up also includes power supplies, computer cases, and various other accessories.

Today we will be looking at the newest Cooler Master computer case, the HAF (High Air Flow) 922. The HAF 922 has a lot in common with its big brother, the popular HAF 932, including tool-less features, a retaining hole for CPU heat sink installation, cable routing features, and an overall rugged design. One major difference between the HAF 932 and the HAF 922 is the size; the HAF 932 is a full tower while the HAF 922 is a mid-tower.

The promotional image below provides a quick overview of the case. It is a rugged looking black case with red LEDs, and is definitely one sharp looking mid-tower case.

The features and specifications listed below are compiled from the official Cooler Master product page for the HAF 922. This review will take a close look at many of these features to determine how well they are implemented and whether they are worthy of your attention.

Features:

Following the overwhelming success of the full tower HAF 932, Cooler Master extends the HAF (High Air Flow) line to a mid tower in the HAF 922. This beastly chassis comes with rugged looks, massive air flow, and Cooler Master's trademark intelligently designed interior. Building the mean, dream machine is now well within reach.

Provides extreme airflow, uncompromising cooling performance, and ruggedly strong protection.
Accommodates demanding high-end components, including full length graphics cards.
CPU cooler retaining hole designed for quick CPU cooler installation.
LED ON/OFF switch for front 200 x 30 mm fan.
Patented button design for easy maintenance of 5.25" drive devices.
Bottom fan can be set facing up or down to increase airflow throughout the case.

Unbeatable cable management made for less clutter and system maintenance by allowing ample room behind the motherboard. The motherboard tray includes access openings for cables to rout in or out of the chassis, preventing damages to cables/component.
