External Examination (continued):
The image below is a close up of the VESA bracket as it comes mounted on the case for shipping. The large vertical bracket in the middle of the case is a slide to install the VESA bracket into. This slider bracket will allow the user to lower or raise the monitor to their personal needs, as well as adjust the tilt of the monitor. The VESA bracket will also allow the monitor to pivot if the need is there. However the bracket does not permit the monitor to swing left/right.
The left side would typically be called the back panel, and here you find the usual suspects. At the bottom of the case is where you will install the power supply. Above that you have the typical back panel items. A place for your motherboard I/O key, and seven expansion slots. Above the motherboard I/O is an area cut out of the case with a honeycomb pattern. This would be a nice place for Chieftec to have installed a couple of small fans to help keep it cool.
The back panel (which would usually be a side panel) is fairly plain. There is a plastic bezel which sticks out a bit, and has some ventilation holes. This area will be right over your expansion slots, including video cards, and could provide a bit of extra fresh air.
The right side panel only has a two points of interest. At the top is a 120mm intake case fan, which is a plain black case fan, no LEDs. At the bottom are some vent holes to help with air flow.
