Jabra was showing off several Bluetooth earpieces. The Jabra Stone does not have a boom with the microphone, and includes a portable charging dock. This will charge the earpiece, and provide a place to store the earpiece when it is not in use. The Jabra Halo is a stereo headset that will allow you to listen to music over Bluetooth and be able to answer your phone, too. In addition, if your music player of choice does not support Bluetooth, you can always attach an audio cable and then connect to your music player.
Sennheiser just announced a new set of headphones designed for active people. These are designed not to fall out of your ears when performing all kinds of activities. I gave these a try, and was able to pull on the headphone cord and still not pull them out of my ears, shaking my head around for about 30 seconds only resulted in making me dizzy... The headphones stayed in place. Sennheiser also had their other well known earbuds on display.
iTech has a different take on the Bluetooth headset. Most of the current designs are either over the ear or in the ear. Their MyVoice 306 is around the ear.
iTech also demonstrated clip-on Bluetooth earpieces. They stated these are very popular in Asia, and they are hoping it catches on in the US. When not in use, the ear piece attaches to the clip with a small magnet.
