"Memory - Write" performance was the fourth test. Just like the memory read tests both the Tactical and Elite kits came in a dead heat. Again, no benefit to overclocking.
"Memory Large RAM" results. A 50% difference was measured between the Crucial Tactical 16GB kit and the Elite 8GB kit. It makes sense that 50% reduction in the amount of RAM performs 50% as "good." Overclocking did not have a significant impact on results.
Finally the overall composite score is higher for the Crucial Tactical LP 16GB kit, by a 62% margin over the previously reviewed Crucial Elite 8GB kit. Much of the measured difference can simply be attributed to the difference in the size of the two kits (see the "Memory Large RAM" test above).
