AIDA 64:
AIDA 64 is used to evaluate memory read, write, and copy performance (rated in MB/s). Higher values are obviously better. As you can see in the graphs below the MSI reference board and the ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe board in stock form test within 2% of each other for all of these tests. Its not until the P8Z68 Deluxe is overclocked that significant increases in performance are measured.
The first graph shows the read results, note when overclocked the ASUS board gains 5% in memory read performance as a result of increasing only the CPU multiplier.
Memory write performance shows an even greater increase when the ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe is overclocked, resulting in a 22% increase in performance as you can see in the image below.
The memory copy results only marginally increase performance when the ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe is overclocked (a 4% increase).
