Packaging and Accessories:
The P6X58D-E is packaged in a box with plenty of information, illustrations, and pictures, which is something you can expect from
ASUS. The below left image shows the front of the box where you see it is one of their "Xtreme Design" boards, and the four features that are most prominently promoted are the 16+2 phase power design, as well as support for SLI/CrossFireX USB 3.0, and SATA 6Gbps. The back of the box (below right image) goes into more detail on some of the key features, as well as showing a photo of the board and its slick blue and black color scheme.
As if the front and back panels didn't offer enough space for detailing all the board has to offer, the front cover hinges open for even more promotional material, as seen in the images below.
When you finally work your way inside the box, you find that all the accessories and documentation are stored above the motherboard, separated by a cardboard tray.
All of the accessories are laid out in the below left image, and from left to right we have the manual, driver/utility disk, the "Q-Shield" rear I/O cover, CrossFire bridge, a handful of nice SATA cables, the "Q-Connector" front panel connectors, and a funky 3-way SLI bridge. The 3-way SLI bridge is shown in greater detail in the below right image.
