3DMark Vantage (High):

3DMark Vantage was run twice on each setup, and this time around we'll be checking the results from High mode, which uses a resolution of 1680x1050, and higher values are still better for each set of results.



Taking a look at the GPU results above, we see a similar distribution of results for "stock" speeds as we saw in Performance mode. This time, however, when overclocked the HD6870 does not pass the HD5870 for top honors.



When looking at the Total scores from High mode, we find that the overclock on the HD6870 is just enough to push it to the top of the list.
