Packaging and Accessories:
The
Antec P280 arrived in a pretty decent sized box, but then again it is marketed as a "Super Mid Tower", which can really be described as slightly taller and longer than your average mid-tower case, but not quite as large as a full tower. I'm not sure what your definition of a full tower is, but if 9 expansion slots, room for 6 hard drives, and a ton a room for most of the largest CPU coolers on the market fits the bill, then this is certainly leans towards a full tower case. The packaging is classic Antec, with a mostly black design, yellow accent stripe, and large image of the product plastered on the front. Only the Antec logo and model name accompany the picture.
The back of the packaging is more informative, pointing out the finer points of the unit as well as the numerous "Quiet Computing" logos and performance features that will hopefully persuade you to spend your hard earned dollars on this particular chassis.
Other than the actual case, you will receive several of the usual accoutrements. These include extra motherboards standoffs (many are already pre-installed), standoff and hard drive screws, numerous types of screws for attaching SSD or 2.5" hard drives, and an extra 3.5" drive silencer bushing. As an added bonus, Antec has included a half dozen black zip ties for your cable management needs. Lastly is the Product Overview literature which covers the basic features of the unit.
