In the first screenshot we see the app's main page with a few documents that have been 'printed' to it. With the host computer and device on the same WiFi network, the process of printing a document is simple and extremely fast. In the time it took for me to hit print on the computer and pick up my device to check its status, the newly printed document would already be there. The strip of buttons labeled "Order, Date, Title, Pages" allow you to sort the documents by those categories. From the titles of two of the three documents you can see I intend to put this app to use with my online purchases that are shipped to stores. I spend a ton of time at the big hardware stores and electronics stores, and presenting a barcode for order pickup will make things even easier.



The screenshot below shows the drop down menu you get when you click the button with the four horizontal lines. App settings and a help section were the most useful areas to me.



The next screenshot shows an email I printed, simply to show the quality of graphics printing. Benchmark Reviews sent over a review announcement, and the ACTPRinter print out of the page conveyed the colors and images just fine.



Next we see another email, which included a bar code for picking up an order at the Home Depot.



Turning the device on its side and viewing the printed document full screen reveals a perfectly usable bar code (well, it was usable before I obscured it). This same principle can work in other areas of life, simplifying things like using airline board passes and picking up tickets at the will call window.



Houdah's ACTPrinter is a well executed app that could be a useful tool for anyone. It works well and does not require an advanced degree in tech in order to use it effectively. In addition to the main uses detailed on the publisher's site and in this review, I found another great use of this app to further improve my daily battle with time management... Typing up a list of chores for one of my daughter, blasting it off to her iPad, and not only did the announcements of "I'm bored" stop, but some of the chores got done, too!
