Packaging and Accessories:
The first thing I noticed was how well the product is packaged. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but it provides all the info you need in clear English. Possibly the most important is the Made in Korea notation. This is not one of those cheap Chinese made units with overstated specifications and translated details that often don't make sense.
On the top of the box it just has the BlackVue logo and BlackVue Over the Cloud, flipping the box on it side it has a picture of the dashcams and the same BlackVue info as the top emblazoned on it, as does the opposite side.
One end of the box provides overall specifications and features for the DR650S-2CH, while the other reviews the cloud features included. The bottom lists the storage capacity, company info, as well as some regulatory compliance data.
Opening the top of the box reveals the two dashcams. The larger of the two is the main unit and this is the forward facing unit. They are well protected by a cardboard sleeve and plastic lens caps.
Removing the cardboard sleeve exposes the accessory box. In this box you will find the Quick Start Guide, warranty info card, power cord, rear dashcam power/signal cable, a microSD to USB adapter, a dash trim tool, replacement double stick tape for mounting the cameras and (8) sticky pads with cable hook.
The Power Magic Pro is packaged in a more typical carton. It provides all the necessary info so you know what you are getting, but it is no where near as substantial as the dashcam box. But this makes sense since the electronics in this box are no where near as sensitive. Inside the box you will find the controller, a cigarette lighter supply power cord, double stick tape, and installation instructions.
