Surprisingly, with all the D-Link cameras we have reviewed we have never gotten our hands on a weather resistant model. Well that changed when D-Link sent over their DCS-8600LH Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera.
Features and Specifications:
The D-Link DCS-8600LH Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi camera comes with a fairly impressive list of features. It has the ability to do cloud recording or local recording to a microSD card. It is IP65 so you can mount it inside or out, so long as your temperatures are between -4 and 113 Fahrenheit. As with just about every camera it does have an IR source for night vision with a range of about 23 feet. You can configure motion and sound detection in the mydlink app as well as utilize two way audio. The unit is also designed to integrate with your Google Assistant, Alexa and IFTTT. The D-Link DCS-8600LH comes in a full color box with an image of the camera front and center, which is more or less actual size. D-Link does a great job of conveying the main features of the camera here, so there should be no issue knowing what you are about to purchase. Flipping an end open you can slide out the cardboard tray that secures the camera, power adapter, and mounting kits. For this particular kit there is one mounting kit for the camera and one for the power adapter. Also included are the typical Quick Start Guide and GPL Code info.
