D-Link is well known for their networking gear and IP cams; over the years we have covered several of each category in reviews at Bigbruin.com. Surprisingly, with all the D-Link cameras we have reviewed we have never gotten our hands on a weather resistant model. Well that changed when D-Link sent over their DCS-8600LH Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera.

The ends of the box provide additional insight by providing a content list, device layout, technical specifications, and minimum requirements to utilize your new toy.

Flipping an end open you can slide out the cardboard tray that secures the camera, power adapter, and mounting kits. For this particular kit there is one mounting kit for the camera and one for the power adapter. Also included are the typical Quick Start Guide and GPL Code info.
