Just like the last D-Link product camera we reviewed (the DCS-2210L), this one came in a shrink wrapped package. The outer cover has a full color picture of the camera on the front, and lets you know this is a full HD 1080P wide angle camera.
The sides of the packaging provide a list of the contents and some of the features that you can expect once you get it set up. The back reiterates the resolution and field of view, but adds info about using this camera with the DNR-202L which can be purchased separately to record multiple D-Link streams. It also mentions D-Links advantage over some of the competition... such as no fees or monthly charges to use their cameras.
Lifting the top cover will reveal the camera peeking out from under a cardboard cover. Removing this cover reveals the camera packed neatly in black foam which is used to support/protect it in transit.
Below the camera we find the accessories which includes some documentation, wall mounting screws/anchors, and a power adapter.
