Next we have the same type of tests, but this time instead of 10MB files we will consider 100MB files. The read speed results are shown first, with the average and then the maximum shown in the first two graphs. We see that both NAS servers can average over 800Mbps, while the Windows server is a bit lower.
The maximum results, shown below, confirm that the speeds were very consistent since the two NAS servers average was within 10Mbps of the maximum.
Writing these large files to the ASUSTOR AS6302T just makes the device look worse. The average speed drops to the equivalent of about 30MBps, which is USB 2.0 territory.
The average result compared to the maximum result shows that the AS6302T did have some variable scores along the way since the average is 70+ Mbps less than the maximum.
Overall, the read speeds were decent, but the write speeds were less than impressive.
