We have covered a wide variety of network attached storage (NAS) servers over the years, but up until now we have never had the chance to look at any products from ASUSTOR. They are relatively new company (founded in 2011), and if you take a closer look at their name you might be able to figure where they came from... The ASUS part reflects that the company was born from ASUS, the prominent computer hardware and consumer electronics company, and the STOR part obviously references storage.



ASUSTOR is focused on making NAS servers, and in this review we are going to take a look at their AS6302T, which is shown in the promotional image above. This 2-bay unit features a 2.0GHz dual-core Intel Celeron processor, 2GB of RAM, and dual Gigabit network connections to power your networked storage.
