This test is designed for SSD devices. It gives a very accurate reading in various tests. The tests chosen were Sequential Read, Sequential Write, 4k Block Read, and 4K Block Write. Higher numbers in these tests mean better performance.
The Solid 2 did perform rather well in the AS SSD Benchmark (the Solid 2 is rated at 200MB/s Read; 120MB/s Write). However, by the showing in this portion of the test, the Agility and the M-Class beat it â€" though they are both rated higher (230MB/s Read, 135MB/s Write for the Agility; and 230MB/s Read, 170MB/s Write for the M-Class).
