Internal Inspection (continued):
The bottom 3.5" hard drive cage can be removed to allow the user to install up to two additional 120mm or 140mm case fans! Likewise, the front five 3.5" hard drive cage can also be removed to provide the user easy access to the front intake fan.
Removing the front 3.5" hard drive cage revealed an unexpected feature. The cage has two rails along the bottom, and When the cage is removed a large black block remains behind which has two places for these rails to slide into. This will ensure the cage is installed properly, and could also help to reduce noise from vibrations.
With the front 3.5" hard drive cage removed, the front intake fan is easily visible and can be removed for replacement or cleaning. This fan location comes pre-populated with a Thermaltake TT-1425 fan, a 140mm (14cm) blue LED fan, rated for 1000RPM at 16dBA.
On the back panel there are ten expansion slots and a 120mm exhaust fan located just above the motherboard I/O panel. The fan has blue LEDs and is rated for 1300RPM at 17dBA.
