Not mentioned in the features and specifications is any reference to the drive's warranty. Like most Western Digital products, the Scorpio 250GB carries a three year warranty, whether you buy it in a retail or OEM package. Three years is a fair period of time for a warranty, but considering that Seagate offers five years on similar products, you are left wanting more from Western Digital's offerings.
