Installation:
Installation of all of these coolers is fairly straight forward, and starts by selecting the right mounting bracket, which in my case is for LGA 775. Next, apply the thermal paste of choice, then secure the cooler. For LGA 775 there are four push pins that pop through the motherboard until they click into place. Once all four pins are secured the unit is ready for testing.

Installation of the Big Typhoon and the V1 went fine, but when it came to installing the MaxOrb I was baffled. This unit uses a bracket that clips onto the motherboard, and then the cooler has to be clamped down to the bracket, the installation was very annoying as there was not much space to get my fingers in there to latch the cooler.
