Conclusion:
The Sumo Lounge SumoSac Sultan is very well built and easy to assemble. However, it really doesn’t seem to be big enough for an average sized (or larger) adult to sit in comfortably for long gaming, TV watching, or lounging sessions. It is large enough for kids to use, and it is definitely tough enough for them to continue to enjoy it for years to come.
While I really wanted to like the Sumo Lounge SumoSac Sultan for what I thought would be a great chair for TV and video gaming time, I just wasn’t able to. It’s really not big enough, and because it really is so firm I wasn’t able to shape it enough to find a really comfortable sitting position. But as I mentioned, it works really well for kids, and I have no doubt that it will be used by my kids for many years. I would think this would be something that they will find many uses for up into their early teen years.
Now to discuss price... This isn't like those "el cheapo" beanbag chairs you might see in Wal*Mart. This is a big, serious beanbag chair; built to last with high quality materials. With that said, the price tag is also quite serious... $249.00! While that does include FedEx shipping, you have to be fairly serious about lounging, as you're getting into the price range of traditional furniture with one of these.
Pros:
» Well built and tough
» Easy to assemble
» Cover is very soft and cozy
» Great for kids
Cons:
» Too short for “average sized” adults to sit in fully
» Wasn’t comfortable enough for long usage by an adult.
