Sumo Lounge SumoSac Sultan Beanbag Chair
October 30, 2008

Looking to get comfy for a long gaming session, or to just chill in front of your TV for a Family Guy marathon? Then Sumo Lounge thinks they have just what you’re looking for. Their SumoSac Sultan beanbag chair is bigger than their original Sumo products, and it promises to be your new comfy chair.

We took a look at the Sumo Lounge Omni super-sized beanbag chair back in 2006, which measured an impressive 54" x 66", but laid rather flat to the ground when not forced into a taller shape. The SumoSac Sultan has a slightly smaller foot print at 54" x 54", but it stands a full 42" high. Before taking a closer look at this new big boy of beanbag chairs, let's look at some published data on it, as taken from the official product page on the Sumo Lounge website.

Product Details:

An improved version of the beanbag chair, SumoSac is a more savvy, stylish & comfortable alternative. This product will never decompress (go flat!!!) & is truly the most comfortable chair in the world wrapped in a removable micro suede cover.

Made with 100% shredded furniture grade urethane foam. Covers zip-off for machine washing. Shipped compressed under vacuum to save on freight.

Dimensions: 54 x 54 x 42

The Basics:

Let’s start off by taking a look at how this monster arrives at your door. That’s a mighty big package you've got there! And the first thing you see in the box is a whole bunch of stuffing.

Next you should find the cover in the color of your choice; for this review we have chosen "Funky Brown". Other color choices include "Pitch Black", "Khaki", Sky Blue", and "Fiery Red". If you haven't noticed by now, what we have here is a “do it yourself kit”.
