Installation and Operation (continued):
The next set of images shows everything installed and wired up, and overall there is plenty of room and cable management is easy. The only issue was with the daisy chained audio connector, which I wrapped in split loom in order to make things tidy and to keep all those little connectors away from fans and electrical connections. The 1250W Cooler Master power supply is not only large, but it has tons of very long cables. The fact that I was able to hide them in the top two drive bays was nice, and the interior was able to stay uncluttered without much effort.
With the system fully assembled and ready for action, I have to admit that I really like the way it looks. The case's finish is incredible, but the combination of the various red and black components and a couple really nice Cooler Master brand items really makes it look sharp.
In use the system is extremely quiet except for when the graphics card ramps up to full speed. Even without a fan on the CPU cooler, the nearby fans on the back of the case and on the PSU keep the processor under 65C under a load. This is a bit warmer than I would care to see, and if I keep this configuration it will definitely be with an additional, low speed 120mm installed.
In this final view we see the casters installed, and I am unsure if I will keep them. While they are definitely very convenient, I feel they detract from the look since the nice white walled tires are now floating a couple inches off the road, I mean ground.
