The Basics (continued):
The back of the Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus 1TB External Hard Drive is where the connections are located. At the top there are a few vents to help dissipate heat, and at the bottom are the four connections; two Firewire ports, one USB port, and a power connection.
There is a small slot above the left Firewire connection that is for use with a laptop style cable lock, so you can keep your 1TB of data from walking away.

You can see the bottom of the Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus 1TB External Hard Drive a little better in the next set of images. Looking through the vents does not let you see the bare drive, because it is inside a metal case visible in the below left image. A little extra effort did expose that a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB SATA 3 Gbps drive with 32MB of cache memory was inside. On the drive's label you can see a part number(9NT3A8-500), a serial number (2HAA4P39), the disk capacity, and some qualification logos on the bottom.

Accessories:
There are only a few accessories for the Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus 1TB External Hard Drive; a power adapter, a mini-USB cable, and a Firewire cable.
