Conclusion:
While the Officejet 5610 may not be up to the task of fulfilling the needs of a full blown office, for home, small office, or perhaps dorm use it certainly up to the task. It provides above average performance in all tasks it is capable of, and the compact size is far more appealing than having four separate devices cluttering a small office space.
While I found the automatic update of the software very annoying and hated that I could not control it more, the software itself seems to be of good quality and easy to use without hurting system performance.
Geeks.com offers a refurbished HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One USB Printer for $85.95 which to me is a real steal. Others must think so as well, because as I finish this review it is currently out of stock. Hopefully they will have the Officejet 5610 back in stock soon, but in the meantime they do have a variety of other all in one printers from major brands like HP, Canon, and Lexmark.
Considering the performance of the unit, and the competitive price that Geeks.com offers it for, the HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One USB Printer earns the Bigbruin.com "Good Value" award.
