Benchmarking:
For the benchmarking portion of the review the OCZ Technology PC2-6400 Titanium EPP-Ready Dual Channel DDR2 will be compared to the OCZ Technology PC2-8500 Platinum SLI-Ready Dual Channel DDR2 mentioned previously. The memory will be evaluated at two speeds, 200MHz and 235MHz, with the timings of both kits being left alone and EPP enabled, since that is what we are really curious about.

SiSoft Sandra 2007 Memory Benchmark:
SiSoft Sandra 2007's suite of benchmarks includes one that offers a pair of results related to memory performance. The values are provided in units of MB/s, and higher values are better.
As shown below, Sandra reports a 6.0% performance increase for the PC2-6400 Titanium over the PC2-8500 Platinum SLI-Ready memory when run at 200 MHz. When you kick in some easy overclocking to 235MHz, the performance difference becomes less (but keep in mind the PC2-8500 is still running below its rated speed).
Everest Ultimate Edition Memory Benchmark:
The Everest Ultimate Edition 2006 Memory Benchmark provides a variety of information, and we will look at 3 results; memory read speed (in MB/s), memory write speed (in MB/s), and memory latency (in ns). Higher values are desirable for memory read and write speeds, while lower values are desirable for latency.
As shown below, the Read and latency values are better on the Titanium kit at 800MHz with EPP, however the write speeds were better on the Platinum kit.
