Packaging and Accessories:
The OCZ Technology Elixir keyboard (as we will refer to it for the remainder of this review) arrived in the black and blue box shown below. The box is rather simple, revealing select product features alongside full-size pictures.
Upon opening the box you will find the keyboard surrounded by a protective plastic bag.
Other peripherals in the box include the driver/software CD (the software is used for re-mapping your keys and setting up the macro buttons) and an extra set of select keys. There was some visible damage to the spare keys included in the box. As you can see in the picture below the plastic enter key was stressed and damaged; probably during transport. Spare keys include those most common to gaming: W, S, A, D, spacebar, etc.
The Basics:
The keyboard is predominately black in color with blue macro keys located on each end. The below left image provides an overall view of the keyboard. The below right image gives you a side profile of the keyboard, with a US quarter provided for a height reference.
