The Cables:
All of the cables are pretty long, about 650mm or so, while the cables with multiple connections have a 150mm gap in between each connector. There shouldn't be any issues with connecting to any components, even in large cases. One note is that while the bulk of the cables are sleeved in black mesh, there is no sleeving between multiple connectors (specifically the drive power cables).
The image below shows the two motherboard power cables; an ATX 24-pin and CPU 8-pin. Notice that neither cable breaks apart; time to make sure your motherboard doesn't use a 20-pin or 4-pin connector, or you will need to buy an adapter in order to make this unit work.
As shown below, the PCI Express cables all have red connectors. There are four 6+2-pin cables to allow a variety of multi-GPU configurations, and I feel bad only using one 6-pin connector for an Nvidia 8800GTS video card.
As mentioned at the beginning of the review, there are a total of eight SATA connectors, four on each of the two cables shown below.
There are also eight 4-pin drive connectors and one floppy (what OCZ Technology refers to as mini) connector. The connections are split over two cables with four 4-pin drive connectors on one cable and four more on the other cable plus the floppy connector at the end.
