3DMark06 Pro:
Futuremark's 3DMark06 was used to compare each kit as it relates to gaming in this synthetic test.
Once again, the OCZ Technology DDR2 kit has the clear advantage at 1000MHz. When the DDR3 is running at its rated speed it is able to slightly outperform the DDR2 kit.
Real World Gaming:
STALKER and F.E.A.R. have been available for a while now, but they are still good benchmarks to use as they can really stress a system.
The frame rate data shown above are what I would expect after looking at the 3DMark06 scores. The OCZ Technology DDR2 kit is better than the other two kits at 1000MHz, while the OCZ Technology DDR3 kit is slightly better at its rated speed of 1333MHz.
