NZXT Rogue Small Form Factor Gaming Chassis

Since they launched in 2004, NZXT has been putting out innovative cases intended to appeal to gamers and other computing enthusiasts. The unique designs and high performance features they incorporate in to their cases are always worth checking out and are rarely like other manufacturer's products.

Their latest offering is no different. The NZXT Rogue Small Form Factor Gaming Chassis is a Micro ATX form factor case that is almost completely Aluminum, has five 120mm fan mounts, offers a removable motherboard tray, and includes a carrying strap for toting the system to LAN parties... to name a few of its features. The Rogue is shown below with the carrying strap in place, all set for action.


This review will cover the Rogue Small Form Factor Gaming Chassis in black with red lighting, and it is also available in black with red lighting, and silver with blue lighting. Before we get to the sample provided for review, let's look at some published data taken from the NZXT website...

Packaging:

The Rogue case arrived in a rather large cardboard box that immediately had me questioning the phrase "small form factor". The black box featured a few images of the case, as well as some of the basic information seen in the lists above. I lifted it up by the carrying handle on top, and again wondered what I was going to find inside as it seemed way heavier than I would have imagined, too.
