The Touchscreen (continued):
The next two screens show some of the system performance data available on the screen. CPU and hard drive usage are just two of many items that can be monitored on the screen.
The next set of screens continue in this section of the software, which also provides information on system memory usage and network activity.
You can navigate through this information manually, or have it automatically scroll through all of it in something like a slide show. There really are numerous capabilities built it, and we could go on for pages checking out all of them. This section of the review just took a look at some of the basics while showing off the high quality of the touchscreen and its software.
One other feature included with the software is a desktop HTPC environment that places the multimedia controls on the touchscreen, while taking over your main screen with an attractive interface. The images below show what your main screen would look like if you decided to let the system software handle things like movies, music, and photo viewing. The screen is attractive and easy to view, and moving your cursor brings up extra functions at the top and bottom that disappear when in normal use.
Overall the touchscreen and its software are very well done. The software is attractive and highly functional. In addition to being able to configure it through the touchscreen interface, a Windows application that can be run on your main screen allows you to get into even more detail while in a setting you may be more comfortable with.
