Installation:
In the images below show the 5.25"/3.5" removable drive cage. At the bottom is a place for one internal 3.5" hard drive, and on the right side is a place for an external 3.5" bay device / floppy drive. The individual drive covers do not snap in like on many cases, but are secured to the cage by screws.
Once you have removed the front covers, you can complete the installation of your devices. As seen in the image below, a DVD Burner and a removable hard drive tray have been installed. Each of these was installed without issue.
Installing 3.5" hard drives is very easy to do. Once the entire drive cage is removed, the individual 3.5" drive trays can be removed to install the hard drives. The individual trays are attached to the entire cage by two screws. Depending on the layout of the installed motherboard and expansion cards, it may be possible to remove just the individual trays while installing hard drives.
Once the individual trays are removed, slide the drives into place, and align the screw holes. Secure the drive with a few screws and replace the tray into the 3.5" drive cage.
In front of the 3.5" hard drive chassis is a 120mm intake fan. I was not able to locate any information on this fan, but when the system is operational it is quiet and runs at approximately 1100RPM.
