Lian Li PC-C36 Muse HTPC Case

Lian Li Industrial Co., LTD was founded in 1983 and is one of the largest manufacturers of aluminum computer cases in Taiwan. They also manufacturer window kits, removable hard drive trays, and memory card readers. Lian Li is a well known name in the enthusiast market and their cases are typically solid, well designed enclosures. The particular case we are interested in today is the PC-C36 Muse, a slim aluminum desktop design primarily intended for the home theater PC market.
The PC-C36 Muse is a slim black brushed aluminum case that has been designed to fit into a user's home entertainment center. It's is constructed in the traditional desktop style rather than a tower design. Before we take a closer look at the case, lets review some of the published information taken from the official product page on the Lian Li website.

Packaging:
As you can see from the pictures below, the case packaging took quite a bit of abuse during the trip from Taiwan. Never the less, the front and back of the box identically depict the case within. They also feature several smaller images that show the many features of this case. The sides are also identical and offer an image of the case without the top cover and list the case specifications in multiple languages. Despite the damage to the shipping box, the external packaging does an excellent job of letting the buyer know the specifics of the case within.
Removing the case from the box reveals that despite the outward appearance, the case is undamaged and nicely protected.
