Lexmark P450 Compact Photo Printer with CD Burner
April 17, 2007

Geeks.com is a great source for tech items new and old, necessary and somewhat frivolous. Browsing their website is always fun as you never know what kind of stuff you just might see. You might see that new quad core processor you were shopping for, and you could find something a bit more peculiar, like an eight pack of remote control gliders/boats/cars. No matter what, they always seem to have something for everyone.

This review combines a bit of the necessary with a bit of the frivolous, while also blurring the line between new and old. The Lexmark P450 Compact Photo Printer with CD Burner incorporates a variety of interesting features into a compact device that happens to be listed as a refurbished unit on the Geeks.com website.

I have purchased "refurbed" items from many websites, and I have to admit I am occasionally weary of what each individual store considers to be acceptable. I have purchased some items that arrive looking used/damaged, don't include necessary items like power cords, and others that just don't work. What Lexmark (and Geeks.com) considers to be a refurbished item has set the bar to a new high, and I would argue that if it weren't for a small green sticker on the outer box announcing this as refurbished, most people would never know! Right off the bat a good impression was made with P450 Printer provided for review because of the attention to detail that went into making this item presentable for sale a second time around.

Before taking a look at the Lexmark P450 Compact Photo Printer with CD Burner provided for review, let's take a look at some of the published data on this device as taken from the Geeks.com website...
