Leadtek Limited WinFast GTX260 EXTREME+ Video Card
February 06, 2009

Testing (continued):

Devil May Cry:

Devil May Cry is another 3D game that includes a benchmark to test the DirectX 10 performance. The resolution was set to 1360x1024 (the highest it would go to in DirectX 10 mode) and anti-aliasing was set to 8x. Four sets of frame rates are provided in the chart below, one for each scene tested, and higher is better for each. What we see is that two GPUs handle the load much better, but that the GTX260 EXTREME+ can still put up some respectable scores.

Company of Heroes - Opposing Fronts:

With the resolution set to 1680x1050 and with 8X anti-aliasing, the performance benchmark included with Company of Heroes - Opposing Fronts was executed on the three cards to be tested. Results in terms of minimum, maximum, and average frame rates are provided, and higher is better for all three. Here we see that this game doesn't let one card stand out above any of the others, as 62 and change seems to be the maximum, with average frame rates in the 50's. The scores are good, but they're all about the same.
