Internal Inspection:
With all of the exterior panels removed, it is now time to see what this beautiful case has to offer inside.
With the left panel removed the first thing that stuck out is that all surfaces inside are black, except for the Zinc plated motherboard tray. I love this as it will be just as attractive on the inside as it is on the outside. No unsightly edges or burrs are found in here. The cables provided appear to be long enough to accommodate even the most poorly designed motherboards. The cables included USB, HD/AC’97 audio, e-SATA, power, reset, activity leds, and the new to me CD-in audio connections.
Looking towards the front drive rails you will notice that there is not a tool-less mechanism in place. There are five 5.25” bays available.
There is also an aluminum 3.5” to 5.25” conversion bracket included. The bracket is attached to the front rails using thumb screws. Attached to the bottom of the bracket are rubber pads which I suppose will help with vibration of floppy drives. The finish on the front is the same brushed look found on the rest of the panel.
