A190A2-T08 19" TFT LCD Widescreen Monitor
|
Conclusion:
I have to say this A190A2-T08 19" TFT LCD Widescreen Monitor has given me a new outlook on "generic". Short of the speakers and lack of an adjustable stand, this generic LCD monitor performs with the best of the name brand LCDs. The picture quality in both 2D and 3D applications is excellent. The "Auto Adjust" feature works great and being able to switch to different brightness modes for different applications at a touch of a button is very convenient.
The review sample arrived with zero dead/lit pixels which was also quite impressive. No matter what brand, there is always a chance of there being imperfections in the screen, so it is a good idea to read the vendor's policy on return/exchange. Geeks.com provides their policy in the "Disclosures" section at the bottom of the listing for every monitor they sell, so there should are no surprises and no need to hunt around the site as is necessary with some stores.
Geeks.com generally offers the A190A2-T08 19" TFT LCD Widescreen Monitor for $169.50, and you may occasionally see it on sale for $164.50 (or maybe less), which is a great bargain for a monitor of this size.
Based on the great overall performance and low price I give the A190A2-T08 19" TFT LCD Widescreen Monitor both the Bigbruin.com "Highly Recommended" and "Good Value" awards.
