Cooler Master X Craft 250 and 350 Hard Drive Enclosures
February 20, 2007

X Craft 250:

The Unit (continued):

In the rear are the two connections used for USB and DC power. There is no DC power adapter that came with the enclosure and it may only be needed with some high speed 7200RPM drives.

Accessories:

The Cooler Master X Craft 250 also has a CD with the USB driver for legacy operating systems and some "backup software". The multi-lingual installation guide is only one page long for the 250. In the below right image there is a small washable cloth for removing dust and fingerprints. The USB cable is also shown here, and it is rather short as compared to the USB cable from the X Craft 350.

The X Craft 250 case protects the portable drive, as well as bundling the accessories and the USB cable. It did have a funky new smell, but it faded after a week of use. The inside of the case is a little tight, but it has a strap to hold the X Craft 250 in place. I am not really sure what I am supposed to put in these tight pockets other than the USB cable.
