Cooler Master Real Power Pro 750W Power Supply
|
Accessories:
The accessories included with this power supply are fairly typical; there is a power cord, mounting screws, and a multi-language booklet.
Internal Inspection:
Taking a look inside the power supply will void the three year warranty, so do not try this at home kids. For a 750W PSU it does look a little light inside. There is one big capacitor in between the two rather small heatsinks. The 120mm fan should keep everything pretty cool since there is a lot of room for the air to flow around the components inside the unit.
There are a total of 18 connectors attached to the Cooler Master Real Power Pro 750W Power Supply. All cables have been wrapped in mesh with heat shrinked ends to maximize airflow and neatness.
The first set of connectors are for the motherboard; a 24-pin ATX connector, a 4-pin connector, and a 8-pin connector. The second set of connectors are for the video card(s); featuring dual 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe connectors.
The next set of connectors are for SATA drives; it is nice to see six real SATA connectors instead of just four and perhaps a few 4-pin Molex to SATA converters for any additional drives. The last set of connectors contain the 4-pin Molex and a 4-pin floppy connector. There are a total of five 4-pin Molex connectors, but only one floppy connector. This might be an issue for someone who still does use a floppy and has something else that requires the same plug (like the DFI LAN Party NF4 SLI-DR motherboard to be used for testing).
